Mak Set Design

12 years experience as the lead designer and head of the art department for national and international Ad campaigns.

Responsible for designing the visual look of each campaign. Over the years I had the opportunity to work closely with great directors, photographers, and Ad agencies.

I left Production Design to explore other creative endeavors - but I will always be grateful for the time that I shared working with such amazing people.

client: SHOWTIME / SERIES The Big C

One of the last jobs I worked on as a Production Designer - was the Ad campaign for the final Season of the series The Big C starring Laura Linney.

I designed the set and lead a team of on-set props, scenic artists, shoppers, carpenters, grips, and the lighting crew to make this all happen.

There is nothing like team work.

Below: The Set Design Render I made to communicate the look and feel to the client - in this case - Showtime. This was also one of my earliest introductions to working with C4D and Ps. I didn’t really know what a Motion Design career would look like - but I did know - I really loved the tools.

and finally - this is a quick shot taken by me - as my prop team and I collectively figured out how to create the character “Death” that Laura Linney would be playing poker with.
